Parish of Inkberrow with Cookhill and Kington with Dormston
Sharing Ministry that all may Serve
Our parish is served by lay and ordained members, working as "collaboratively" as we can.
We believe that all Christians are called from their baptism to share fully in the life and
mission of the Church, and all have gifts to offer within the Body of Christ.
Our Ministry Network includes the following people:
Clergy:
Rev’d Canon Nick Wright (Vicar)
Rev’d Diane Hayward-Wright (Assistant/Curate)
Licensed Lay Ministers (Readers):
Nigel Seyler
Janice Swan
Hilary Bainbridge (in training)
Authorised Lay Ministers (ministry focus in brackets):
Jill Beddall (Pastoral Care)
Tracey Brisband (Children & Youth)
Elizabeth Collins (General)
Wendy Mann (Worship)
Colin Marshall (Worship)
Helen Swan (Worship)
Shirley Wright (General)
These people share particular responsibility for the oversight of pastoral care, planning and leading worship,
teaching and nurture, throughout the parish. In practise, many other lay people are involved in these ministries.
The team’s work is particularly focused in the encouragement of all members of the congregations to discover and exercise
individual talents and gifts. The aim is that every Christian can contribute to the richer life of our church fellowships
in all four churches and grow in confidence in their ministries within their communities and workplaces.
